ArtSync's 2011 Make It Happen Contest
(Part 2 of Make It Happen — Coming this fall. It will include: painting/illustration, sculpting & fine crafts)

Here’s the deal, you send us your submissions by July 30th, and our panel of awesome judges will select one of you for a grand prize, along with two finalists. The winners will be announced on Sept 1st. The prizes are amazing! Oh, and for those of you who want to know what we're looking for, the answer is simple. Send us what represents you, and your style best.

MUSIC:
Send us your musical genius in the form of an MP3 or a short video. All music types qualify. You can send up to 3 submissions. When submitting MP3’s, please include title and a description of who you are in a 100 words or less, and a URL address, if available.
| 1ST PLACE PRIZE: Recording session (two 10 hour days) at SonicWave Studio in Brooklyn NY. An extensive write-up and a full page ad in ArtSync Magazine + a banner ad on ArtSync’s website for 3 months. |
2ND PLACE PRIZE: Write-up on the ArtSync website and a full page ad in ArtSync Magazine + a banner ad for one month on our website. |
3RD PLACE PRIZE: ½ page ad in ArtSync Magazine & a banner ad located on three separate ArtSync site pages for 3 months. |

ABOUT THE STUDIO AND OWNER:
SonicWave Studio's founder, owner and chief engineer, A.J. is fluent in analog and digital mediums. He has over 25 years of performing, recording and producing experience. He is a member of the Audio Engineering Society and the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. A.J. works extensively with the artists of Warner Music Group, Atlantic Records, Stern's Music Group, Afropop Worldwide, and a host of other independent clients. He also teaches several courses at the SAE Institute of Technology in New York City.
FASHION DESIGN:
Send us your amazing designs as jpg, gif, png, or pdf files. You can send up to 3 submissions. Please include title and a description of who you are in a 100 words or less, and a URL address, if available.
| 1ST PLACE PRIZE: Your very own runway show at Adore in Raleigh, NC. This is an exclusive event and will be promoted to the fullest. The event will be filmed, and photographed. You’ll receive copies of all press and images of the event for you portfolio. Also, one of your designs will be picked for ArtSync’s Editor, Christine Clemmons to wear in one of her editorials. An extensive write-up and a full page ad in ArtSync Magazine + a banner ad on ArtSync’s website for 3 months. |

ABOUT ADORE AND OWNER:
Nancy Alinovi has always loved fashion. Growing up in New York with a father in the garment business was the beginning of this adoration. Nancy learned at an early age the joy and fun that “dressing” can bring. As a child, she devoured various catalogues; as a teen, it was Seventeen Magazine, and now Nancy can be heard proudly proclaiming that since the age of nineteen, she has never missed an issue of Vogue. Nancy stays current with the ever changing fashion industry. With a lifetime of experience, she is the perfect fit to judge our very first fashion contest! ADORE

| 1ST PLACE PRIZE: Your very own editorial in 3 issues of ArtSync based on our tagline: The Art Magazine You'll Take To Bed. We want you to provide us with images on what this tagline means to you. Of course, beds are the theme, but you can choose how to photograph this, whether the beds are outside, indoors, with or without sexy models, or you could keep things light and make it silly. Basically, you’ll have full creative expression to show our audience the power of the bed! And you’ll have 3 opportunities to do this! Also, an extensive write-up and a full page ad in ArtSync Magazine + a banner ad on ArtSync’s website for 3 months. |

ABOUT TYLER SHIELDS:
Tyler Shields is an Artist based out of L.A. He got his start directing music videos then began photography. Tyler is known for his work with Video portraits and his photography work in the art and celebrity form. He is currently working on his new book The Dirty Side of Glamor.
