Once you have submitted art through our submit form, you have confirmed that you are the copyright holder of the submitted material, and that you are releasing that material for the use of artsyncmag.com and/or ArtSync Magazine.

In a nutshell, if you didn’t write the article, take the picture, or create the art yourself, then we cannot accept the submitted work.

Visual Arts

Image Specs: Please submit your images for the web that you've saved as jpg, gif, png, or pdf files.

Visual Art Info: Please include the title, media, and dimensions. Also, description of who you are in a 100 words or less.

Your Info: Include your name and URL, or some other form of contact.  We want our audience to be able to reach you.

Photographs: All photographs must be saved as jpg, gif, png, or pdf

Performing Arts

Music: When submitting MP3, please include title.
Also, include a description of who you are in a 100 words or less.

Film: Online submissions must be kept under five minutes.
All others must be sent via the mail to:

Writer Guidelines

Editorial statement: ArtSync is a magazine and
website focusing on the Arts on a national level.
Our goal is to celebrate all the arts, not just one niche.

Articles needed: Visual Art, Music (all types), Theater, Sculpting, Clay, Creative Writing, Reliable information for the artist, Art History, Collectors, Architecture, Fine Crafts, National Art news, Photography, all Mixed Media and Youth Art. 

Audience: We envision our audience to be artists of all types, the art collector, and the average art lover.

Submissions: We would prefer query letters (article proposals) unless your submission is 500 words or less.

If you are serious about writing for ArtSync, and want your submission to be noticed immediately, please read the guidelines below. Make sure to write "AEG" (ArtSync Editorial Guidelines) in the subject line.

Magazine: Editorial Guidelines

All material is approved by both parties prior to publishing. Below is a list of guidelines, the purpose of which is to save time for our editors. We thank you in advance for following them.

GUIDELINES: 

  • Word count: 500/1000
  • All titles (books, films, songs, magazines) are italicized.
  • Curse words: Try not to use them.
  • The name of our publication is ArtSync.
    (It is NOT:  ARTsync, Artsync, Art Sync, artsync, artsyNC or artSync.)
  • Use two spaces between paragraphs, and one space between sentences.
  • Please do not use paragraph indents.

IMAGE SPECS:

  • Resolution: 300 dpi
  • Color Mode:  CMYK
  • Accepted File Formats: TIFF, JPEG or PDF (Flattened and press-ready)

Note: If you are providing images for your piece (we encourage this), please follow specs. Under no circumstances can we use a photograph that has been altered for online display. If you don’t understand the importance of resolution, please let us know. We will walk you through it.
